A horizontal spiral centrifuge is a settling equipment that operates continuously and discharges materials horizontally. The drum and the screw rotate at a certain speed difference in the same direction and high speed. The material is continuously introduced into the inner cylinder of the conveying screw through the feeding pipe, accelerated and enters the drum. Under the action of the centrifugal force field, heavier solid substances deposit on the drum wall to form a sediment layer. The feeding spiral continuously pushes the deposited solid phase to the cone end of the drum and discharges it outside the machine through the slag discharge outlet. The lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring, which continuously overflows from the large end overflow port of the drum and is discharged outside the machine through the discharge port.

Startup steps for the horizontal screw centrifuge:
1. Connect the external main power supply;
2. Start the auxiliary motor until the speed is normal;
3. Start the main motor after a delay of 20 seconds until it runs normally;
4. After the main motor runs for 10 minutes, start the feeding pump motor until it runs normally;
5. Gradually turn on the feed pump to achieve the desired processing capacity.
Shutdown steps for horizontal centrifuge:
1. Close the feed valve and stop the feed pump;
2. Open the clear water valve and the drum cover cleaning valve, let the centrifuge continue to run for 10-15 minutes, observe the overflow port, and only close the above valves when the liquid flow is relatively clear and the slag discharge port no longer discharges slag;
3. Stop the main motor;
4. Automatic stop of auxiliary motor after delay;
5. Disconnect the external main power supply.
