    Whey is a liquid which is obtained through straining process upon clotting of cheese in cheese production process. It contains lactose, minerals, vitamins, proteins and low quantities of milk fat. Whey powder: It is a product in form of powder obtained from whey through several processes that whey undergoes. It is used in many different fields in the food industry.

    Whey: It is used as raw material in many sectors such as food, medicine and pharmaceuticals, agriculture and livestock breeding, sports nutrition, cosmetics.

    Cleaning Of Whey

    Purpose: Removal of foreign matters, cheese and curd sediments from the whey. An efficient cleaning process also increases the fat separation performance. Process: They whey is cleared from impurities upon delivery to the plant using DHSZ series separator.
    Whey which is ready for processing is taken to storage tanks.
    Purpose: It is the process of separating fat from whey. Low-fat whey is further processed for separation of mineral, lactose and other constituents. Efficiency of the cream separator is highly important for problem free operation of the filtration systems located at the downstream of the process. Process: Heated to the temperature of 45-55°C during pasteurization, the whey is ran through CREAM separator and separated into cream and low-fat whey powder. SHENZHOU Centrifuge Technologies can reduce the fat rate of the whey down to < 0.05% at the separator outlet. Separator's cream output fat ratio is adjustable in the range of 40-65%.
    Low-fat whey is transferred to the following process for further processing.

    Main Structure


    Powerful Motor provide power through the thermal coupling to drive drum in high-speed rotating around the main axis. And the liquid material is carried by feeding pipe located in the upper center into the bottom of the drum, and then led in the porthole below the disc and driven to the drum wall. Under centrifugal force, solid- liquid-liquid do the below motion to complete thorough separation:solid phrase, which is heavier than liquid, would sink into the inner wall of the drum for sediment formation; light liquid flow in centripetal pump, and be discharged by liquid outlet; The heavy liquid tends to the drum wall along the cone inside the disc, and then flows upward through through the heavy liquid concentric pump to be discharge from the outlet.
    Due to the double-conical design of the inner cavity of the drum, it can compress the slag and increase its concentration.
    Besides, some nozzles is mounted around the drum to spray slurry sediment, whose number and aperture are determined on the properties of the suspension, the degree of concentration and the amount of treatment.
    In order to improve the slag concentration, recovery device is configured with this disc separator to the discharged sediment for reuse. For the solid concentration of the slag can be increased by 5~20 times than that of the feeding materials.
    The processing capacity of the separator is up to 30t/h, which is suitable for suspension with solid phrase in diameter of 0.1~100 microns and concentration less than 10% (maximum to 25%).
    This special design separator has the full automatic control box which used for safety protection and equips and also been equipped with advanced automatic vibration tester which can view vibrating value at any time. We can make separating and discharging to the best affection from regulating separation parameter directly at the screen.
