Decanter Centrifuges, playing a pivotal role in the separation of liquids from solids, are a critical and highly efficient process within the fruit juice industry, contributing to the production of high-quality and clarified fruit juice products. Operating by applying centrifugal force to the juice mixture, these centrifuges cause denser solid particles to settle at the bottom, while lighter liquid components, like juice, are expelled through a separate outlet. The continuous and automatic operation of decanter centrifuges renders them particularly suitable for large-scale juice processing.
SHENZHOU 2-phase decanter centrifuge is solid-liquid separation equipment that separates solid-liquid mixtures through high-speed rotation. Among the materials fed into the decanter, due to the density difference between the solid phase and the liquid phase, under the high-speed rotation of the bowl, they will be subjected to different centrifugal force. The solid phase will accelerate to settle to the inner wall of the bowl, while the liquid phase will converge to the center of the bowl to form layers. The rotating assembly of the decanter centrifuge consists of a bowl and a screw propeller, which are driven by the main motor and the auxiliary motor respectively. The bowl and the screw propeller rotate in the same direction, but the rotational speed is different, so that the screw propeller can push the separated solid phase out of the solids outlet to realize solid-liquid separation.
LW series decanter centrifuges are suitable for the separation of materials with high solid content. The material distribution port of the screw propeller and the screw blades can be protected by installing carbide protective sleeves and wear-resistant plates. The bowl slag outlet can also be protected by wear-resistant sleeves to prolong the service life of the centrifuge equipment.
In the process of fruit juice processing, if the clarity of the juice is required to be high, the user can use the disc separator to further process the liquid phase discharged from the decanter centrifuge. The disc separator has a higher speed and can achieve a higher centrifugal separation factor, that is, the smaller solid phase particles are separated from the juice to achieve the effect of improving the clarity of the juice.
