Decanter Centrifuge

The full name of the decanter centrifuge is the horizontal screw decanter centrifuge, which is a widely used equipment in the field of industrial solid-liquid separation. According to the characteristics of different materials in different industries, Shenzhou decanter centrifuge is divided into dewatering, separation, and clarifying decanter centrifuge. With centripetal pump technology, Shenzhou  decanter centrifuge can also realize the 3-phase separation of liquid, liquid, and solids.

Thickening and Dewatering System

The horizontal spiral centrifuge produced by Shenzhou Group is specially used for the separation of river sludge. The separated sludge can be directly incinerated.

LW series products are decanter centrifuges that can work continuously and are mainly used for solid-liquid separation, dehydration, fractionation, clarification, and concentration of materials. Based on different phase densities, it separates the solid phases and liquid phases under the action of the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed revolution of the Bowl. The solid phases are conveyed to the conical end of the Bowl through a spiral and then discharged, and the liquid phases are discharged out from the overflow port at the big end of the Bowl. Characterized by simple design, high efficiency and scientific configuration, this product has been widely applied to chemical, pharmaceutical, environmental protection, food, mining, energy and other industries.

Decanter centrifuge for extracting fruit- or vegetable juice was shown to be applicable to juice extraction from sweet and sour cherries, apricots and peaches. The machine was fed fruit mash at incrementally higher flow rates and the suspended solids in the output juice were measured with a high-speed laboratory centrifuge. Accepting 3% (w/w) suspended solids as an acceptable level, machine capacity was about 0.36 kg/s (2800 lb/h), 0.38 kg/s (3000 lb/h), 0.23 kg/s (1800 lb/h), and 0.1 kg/s (790 lb/h) for peaches, sour cherries, apricots and sweet cherries, respectively. Peaches required pectolytic enzyme treatment for extraction of low suspended solids juice but sour cherries could be processed with or without enzyme treatment. Apricot proved more difficult to juice than peaches, requiring pectinase treatment and slower feed rates to achieve juice separation.
