Tubular Centrifuges are designed to separate low percentages (<2%) of suspended solids which are between 1 and 0.001 microns in size, and to separate two immiscible liquids of differing densities. Tubular Centrifuges operate at high speed, generating up to 20,000 gravities of centrifugal force, causing solids to collect inside the smooth bore of the stainless steel tube where they are easily recovered.
High-speed tubular centrifuges are mainly used for liquid-solid or liquid-liquid-solid separation in biomedicine, Chinese medicine preparations, plant extraction, health food, beverages, and chemical industries. It is the ideal equipment for separation by centrifugation at present. It is especially suitable for the extraction, concentration and clarification of materials with small liquid-solid phase difference, small solid particle size, low content, and strong corrosive medium.
Tubular centrifuges (Tubular centrifuges) have two series, GF and GQ. Typical examples are GQ series clarification tubular centrifuges and GF series liquid and liquid separation tubular centrifuges.
GF-Separation type: mainly used to separate various difficult-to-separate emulsions, especially suitable for the separation of liquid and liquid with little difference in two-phase density (the specific gravity difference is greater than 0.1%), and the liquid, liquid, and solid containing a small amount of impurities Three-phase separation. Oil separation, transformer oil, edible oil dehydration and dewaxing, turbine oil, biodiesel, coal tar, lubricating oil, marine fuel oil, quenching oil; separation of various syrups; separation of whole blood-from whole blood Separation of plasma and blood cells; separation of biological products; separation of oil and water, sewage treatment, etc.
GQ-Clarification type tubular centrifuge is mainly used to separate various difficult-to-separate suspensions, especially suitable for solid-liquid separation with low concentration, high viscosity, fine solid phase particles, and small difference in solid-liquid specific gravity.
For example, the oral liquid of traditional Chinese medicine has large sugar content, many flocculents, fine solid phase particles and small solid-liquid specific gravity difference.
