The High Speed Tubular Bowl Separator consists of a machine body, driving system, bowl, liquid collecting pan, liquid-inlet bearing seat, and other components. During operation, the feed material enters the bowl through the inlet at the bottom. As the bowl rotates at high speed, strong centrifugal force is generated, causing the material to flow upward along the inner wall of the bowl.
Under the action of centrifugal force, different phases are separated according to their density differences. Depending on the separation requirements, the tubular bowl centrifuge can be configured for liquid-liquid separation or liquid-solid clarification.
The GF type tubular bowl separator is designed for liquid-liquid separation. During high-speed rotation, the heavier liquid forms the outer liquid layer, while the lighter liquid forms the inner liquid layer. The two liquid phases flow upward toward the top of the bowl and are discharged separately through their respective outlets.
A small amount of solid material may settle on the inner wall of the bowl. After the machine stops, the accumulated solids can be removed manually.
The GQ type tubular bowl centrifuge is designed primarily for liquid-solid clarification. During operation, heavier solid particles are deposited on the inner wall of the bowl and gradually form a sludge layer. After the machine stops, the accumulated sludge is manually removed.
Meanwhile, the clarified liquid flows upward and is discharged through the outlet at the top of the bowl.
The GQ tubular centrifuge is particularly suitable for separating suspensions that are difficult to process using conventional separation equipment. It is especially effective for liquid-solid separation involving low solid concentrations, high viscosity, fine particles, and very small density differences between the two phases.
The motor is connected to the large pulley and transfers power to the spindle through the belt, tensioner, and small pulley. The spindle drives the bowl to rotate clockwise at high speed, generating the centrifugal force required for efficient separation.
