- Continuous automatic operation, suitable for large-scale lactic acid and PLA production lines Continuous feeding, separation and solids discharge without shutdown. It supports stable 24/7 operation with large throughput. Compared with filter presses and batch centrifuges, it requires less labor and matches the continuous lactic acid process for ten-thousand-ton PLA plants.
- Built-in counter-current cake washing function to improve lactic acid yield (key advantage) A washing zone is integrated on the scroll. Wash water can strip entrapped free lactic acid from the biomass cake, reduce product loss and directly increase the overall lactic acid yield.
- High tolerance to high-solid and fiber-rich feed, excellent process adaptability It can stably handle fermentation broth with solid content of 3–18% and tolerate unconverted fiber and protein colloid. Unlike disc separators, it is not easy to overload or clog under high-solid conditions, suitable for high-concentration fermentation processes and fluctuating feed.
- Superior dewatering performance for biomass residue, waste reduction and resource utilization The moisture of biomass cake can be controlled at 75~78%. The dewatered residue reduces transportation volume and can be reused as protein feed or organic fertilizer raw material to cut solid waste disposal cost.
- Hygienic and anti-corrosion design for weak lactic acid medium All wetted parts are made of AISI 316L stainless steel with FDA-grade FKM seals. Product contact surface is polished to Ra ≤0.8μm. Standard CIP cleaning system without dead zones, corrosion resistant and compliant with food and fermentation hygienic requirements.
- Act as pre-separation equipment to protect downstream purification units Most biomass and coarse fibers are removed in advance, which relieves the load of downstream disc separators, ultrafiltration membranes and ion exchange resins. It reduces membrane fouling, resin contamination and the cost of consumables and cleaning.
- Flexible control and compatible with plant DCS system Adopt dual VFD closed-loop differential speed control. Multiple process recipes can be stored in PLC+HMI for quick adjustment according to feed solid variation. 4–20mA signal output is available for remote monitoring and DCS integration.
- Fully enclosed structure to improve workshop environment The closed housing suppresses the escape of volatile lactic acid vapor and odor, reduces VOC emission and corrosion inside the workshop.
