The drilling fluid centrifuge is driven by two motors. The main motor drives the drum and differential housing to rotate through a belt, while the auxiliary motor drives the screw after variable speed through the differential. This causes the drum to rotate in the same direction as the screw and has a certain differential speed. The principle of centrifugal settling is used to separate the drilling suspension. The suspension enters the drum through the discharge hole of the screw pusher from the feed pipe. Under the action of centrifugal force, solid particles are pushed towards the inner wall of the drum and discharged through the blades on the screw pusher to the slag discharge outlet at the small end of the drum. The liquid phase overflows through the overflow hole at the large end of the drum. Continuously cycling in this way to achieve the goal of continuous solid-liquid separation.
