The three-phase horizontal screw centrifuge is driven by the main motor to rotate the drum at full speed. The material is continuously introduced into the screw through the feeding pipe and evenly distributed to the screw outlet. Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid phase settles onto the wall of the drum, and is pushed out from the spiral feeder towards the slag outlet of the conical drum. The liquid phase flows out along the spiral towards the overflow hole at the large end of the drum, forming a small end for solid phase to exit and a large end for liquid phase to exit. Separate solid particles from the liquid in the mixture, or separate two immiscible mixtures with different densities.
